Legal basis and consent
We rely on your consent — given when you create an account and use the Service — to collect and use your personal information for the purposes described above, and on our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the Service. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account or by contacting us at support@firepumpsimulator.com. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the Service to you.
Service providers we share with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed for them to provide their services to us:

We may also disclose personal information when required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fire Pump Simulator, our users, or others.
International transfers
Some of our service providers process and store personal information outside Canada, including in the United States. By using the Service, you understand that your personal information may be processed outside your country of residence and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We rely on contractual and other appropriate safeguards when personal information is transferred internationally.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary to keep you signed in to your account; others are used by Google Analytics to measure aggregate usage. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect how the Service works.
Data retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent, and request deletion of your account and associated personal information. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under the GDPR or equivalent law, including data portability and the right to object to certain processing. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@firepumpsimulator.com.
Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit and database-level access controls that restrict each user's data to that user. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
